Working with Extensions

Learn how to find, enable, purchase, and remove extensions.

Updated this week

Extensions allow you to discover, enable, trial, and manage additional PandaDoc features that are either included in your subscription or available as paid add-ons. Depending on your plan, some features are available by default, while others require manual enablement or assistance from our Support team.

Features you can enable or purchase

✓ Feature included in the plan's package by default. * Can be purchased as an add-on.

These features are charged per document and can be used by both plans:

How to enable an extension

Note: Only the account owner can enable or disable extensions.

Enterprise plan

If you’re on an Enterprise plan:

  1. Go to the Extensions section in the left navigation.

  2. Find the extension you want to enable.

  3. If you have one workspace, you'll see the Install extension button. Select it to enable the feature.

  4. If you have multiple workspaces:

    • Select Workspaces

    • Choose whether future workspaces should also have this extension

    • Select which workspaces should have access

    • Select Save changes

Note: If you skip workspace selection, the extension may be installed but not visible in your navigation.

Business plan

If the extension is available on your plan:

  1. Go to Extensions and find the feature you want to enable.

  2. Click Buy now to purchase the extension and proceed with the payment in the next modal window, or Start free 7-day trial (if available).

If the extension is available only on a different subscription plan, you’ll be prompted to upgrade your plan.

Trialing an extension

Some features offer a free 7-day trial. To start a trial, choose the Start free 7-day trial option. A note will indicate that your free trial will end after 7 days.

Note: You will not be charged after the trial ends. The feature will become unavailable.

Features available for free 7-day trial:

  • Multiple Workspaces

  • Content Locking

  • Agreement Renewals

After the free 7-day trial expires, the extension will automatically be disabled.

Important: If you trial Content Locking and lock your content, you won’t be able to unlock it after the trial ends unless you purchase the extension or upgrade your plan.

Note: Trials are only available to users on active plans and can be used once per account.

How to disable extensions

To disable a feature, you’ll need to uninstall the corresponding extension:

  1. Open the feature you want to disable.

  2. If you have only one workspace, select Uninstall extension.

  3. If you have multiple workspaces, you'll see the Workspaces button instead. Click on it, then uncheck all workspaces, and select Save changes.
