Note: The summary page is currently rolling out to a select group of customers. If you don't see it yet, you'll continue to see the previous experience until it reaches your account.
Availability: Business and Enterprise plans
When you send a document, you'll land on the document summary page — a dedicated view for everything you need to manage a document after it goes out. Recipient status, reminders, activity, and engagement data are all in one place.
You get to the summary page in two ways:
From the document list — open any document that's already been sent
Right after sending — select Continue to Summary Page on the confirmation screen
Document header
At the top of the page you'll see the document name and current status (e.g., Sent).
The right sidebar shows the document thumbnail, name, and quick actions:
Open — opens the document view
Edit — edits the document and creates a new version if you need to change document content after the document has been sent. You would need to resend the document to the recipient to get the latest, updated version. If you edit a sent document, all signature and initials fields filled out by recipients will be erased t
Download PDF — downloads the document as a PDF
Auto-reminder — set up or adjust automatic reminders
Connect integration — link the document to a CRM record
Select the horizontal ellipsis (three dots) button at the top right of the page to access additional actions: New document, Convert to template, Make a copy, Move, Archive, Download, and Print.
Recipients
The Recipients section lists everyone the document was sent to, along with their current status (e.g., Not viewed, Signed) and the date it was sent.
For each recipient you can:
See their current status — whether they've opened the document and when it was sent, or that they're waiting for an earlier signer to complete first
Select the expand arrow (›) to see an inline engagement summary — how many times they opened the document and how long they spent on it
Select the bar chart icon to open a detailed analytics panel showing views, total time spent, last viewed date, download status, and a per-page breakdown
Select the link icon to copy their unique recipient link, to share through another channel if needed
Send reminder — sends a one-off reminder immediately (visible on documents in Sent or other unsigned states)
Select the horizontal ellipsis (three dots) button to Edit personal details to update recipients contact details if needed
Latest activity
The Latest activity section shows a real-time, timestamped log of everything that has happened: when the document was created, sent, opened, signed, and any delivery events including failures.
Related documents
The Related documents section in the right sidebar lets you create a follow-on document — such as a contract based on a proposal, or an invoice based on a contract — with recipients, variables, and line items automatically carried over from the original.
Important: Related Documents replaces the previous Transfer Data feature. If your account has the new document experience, use Related Documents instead.
When no related documents exist yet, the section shows No related documents with an Add related document button. Once a related document has been added, it appears here with its name and relationship label:
To add a related document, select Add related document (empty state) or the + button next to the Related documents heading (when one already exists):
Choose a template. PandaDoc pre-fills the new document with recipient data, variables, and pricing table items from the original.
Review the pre-filled content and make any edits needed.
Send the document or save it as a draft.
Note: Related documents are available for documents in any status.
Replace signer is accessed from the recipient menu in the document view
The Invite dropdown (for adding CC recipients or collaborators) is in the document editor, not on the summary page
