Sending documents to non-English speakers? Now you can change the recipient view language to help recipients easily navigate PandaDoc to open, view, and sign documents.
Recipient view is currently available in English, Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, and Swedish.
How to enable: on the lower left, go to Extensions, select the “Content Management” category, find “Localization” and click on “Add to PandaDoc” to review and enable.
Set a default recipient view language
Select your name in the lower-left corner.
Go to Recipient experience.
In Localization, Default language choose the desired language from the dropdown menu.
Click Save changes – from now on, the selected language will show up for all new documents and templates.
Note: Recipient view language can only be set by the workspace Admin.
Enable recipient view language for a particular template or document
Note: We suggest enabling recipients view language on the template level, so that all documents created out of it will inherit its settings
Open a template and click the ellipses in the top right > Template details
Scroll down to Recipient view language and click the gear icon
Choose a language and click Apply.
Note: Changing the recipient view language will not translate the text you've written in your document or template. It only affects PandaDoc system labels and emails your recipient sees.
At the template level, recipient view language can be enabled by a workspace Admin.
To change the recipient view language on a document:
Click the Document info button at the top of the page
Select Settings tab
Scroll down to Recipient view language and click the gear icon
Choose a language and click Apply.
Document sent, recipient’s view
The PandaDoc interface, as well as PandaDoc emails, will display in the selected recipient's view language.
Important: The recipient view language setting only translates the PandaDoc interface elements — such as buttons, instructions, and system-generated emails — into the selected language. It does not translate the actual content of your document or template (e.g., text, product names, pricing tables, terms). If your document is written in English, that content will remain in English unless you manually translate it before sending.
