Letting your recipients sign a PandaDoc document in person on your device is easy!

To collect a signature in person, simply open the document in the PandaDoc mobile app, or open PandaDoc in a desktop or mobile browser. Then, select Sign in person and pass your device to the signer.

Note: In-person signers are not required to have an email address or phone number. The signing certificate will display the name and email of the host for in-person signers.

Here’s how to set up in-person signing:

  • Make sure you have In-person signing enabled in our Add-on store

  • If you’re using the PandaDoc mobile app, download it on your device, then log in and make sure there is at least one signer (other than you) and the document you’d like to have signed is in sent or viewed status

  • If you’re using a desktop or mobile browser, make sure there is at least one signer (other than you) and the document you’d like to have signed is in draft, sent, or viewed status

  5. If your document requires more than one signer, the screen will automatically update and you can select the next in-person signer.

  6. You can always change the signer by clicking Change signer at the top of the screen. If you’d like to leave in-person signing mode, click or tap the button in the top right. All filled fields (including signatures) will be saved.

If you have Signing order set up in your document, you will need to sign the document in this order. There will be no way to change the signer until the only one recipient can sign the document at a time. The next signer will only be able to sign it, when the precedent signer fills out all fields assigned to them will need to sign the document in person.
