How to Navigate to Notary Dashboard
Once notary has been provisioned to your account, you will have the navigation panel.
At the top right, you can go to the App Switcher by clicking on the dialpad icon and clicking Notary.
How to Prepare your first Live Session
Note:You must first have the document prepared inside of PandaDoc. Ensure it shows up in the list of documents and is assigned to the Notary.
From the Notary dashboard, you can initiate a session by clicking New Session at the top right.
From here, you can select the document you wish to initiate inside of the session.
Next, you can identify your participants.
You can also enter a custom message to your signers. (optional)
Click Join Session Now and you will be taken to the live session. From here, you will await your signer(s). They have now received an email to join you live in the session.
Setting up your Webcam and Microphone
First, ensure that you have given your browser access to the camera. You will find this icon at the top right in Google Chrome. Click “Continue Allowing”
The system should automatically recognize your audio and video devices. However, if you are unable to see yourself, you can click the ‘gear’ icon and ensure that you have selected the correct output devices.
How to Identify your Signers
To begin identity verification, click the green Start Signing button.
From this menu, you can identify which signer you would like to identify. Click Verify ID to start signing
From this drop-down, you can select Start Verification Process to initiate the Knowledge-Based Authentication and Credential Analysis.

After they successfully have identified themselves, they will begin the credential analysis.
Now, as the Notary, you can view the results of the identity verification by clicking on the 3 dots, and clicking View Identification.
How to begin the signing process
To prompt your signers to begin signing the document, please click Invite to Sign.
They will then begin the signing process by clicking Start and it will run them through their designated areas. You will know that they are signing by the status of 'Waiting for Signature'.
Once they have placed their signature on the document, they will click Finish.
After they have signed, you can click Start Signing and after you have placed your signature and stamp, you can click Finish at the top right as well.
You have both now signed, and you can exit the session.
How to end a live session
Once you and your signers have signed the document, it is time to close the session. Do so by clicking the red telephone icon.
Click Leave and end the session after you have both signed.
