[Editor 2.0] Date field format and options
Using the PandaDoc date field, you can set a specific date format, and also enter rules for the date.
Date field format
You can set a default date field format in Workspace settings so all new date fields will share the same format. This way, you won't need to set it every time!
Go to Settings > Settings, scroll down to Default date field format, set the default date field format, then click Save changes. Any new field you add to a document will follow this format.
You can also set the format for an individual date field on a document. Simply click on the field properties and select the format of the date field on the right.
Set available dates
You can also limit which dates the recipient can select when they fill out the document. Click on the date field properties, then on the right, find the Available dates section. It shows Any by default, but you can change it to Past dates, Future dates.
As a result, the recipient assigned to this field will only be able to select a date either in the past (used as a date of birth, for example) or a date in the future — one or the other.
Other settings
You can also set the date field that’s required to fill out or mask the field value/input. To do this, find the properties section on the right side of the page. Go here for more about masking data in fields.
