Free plan document limits

Free plan document limits now reset monthly: 5 documents sent per month, plus a 25/month cap on documents created via API. New Free signups get the monthly limits first; existing accounts move over later.

Free plan document limits now reset every month instead of once a year. The monthly limits apply to new Free plan signups first; existing Free accounts will move over later.

Previously, Free plan accounts could send up to 60 documents per year. Now, that same allowance is tracked monthly:

  • 5 documents sent per month — combined across app, API, and MCP

Document creation limits work differently depending on how you create:

  • App and MCP: unlimited document creation

  • API: 25 documents created per month

Note: Your send limit renews monthly on your plan's start date. Unused documents don't carry over — if you send 3 documents in one month, you start the next month with 5 again, not 7.

Warning: Once you hit your monthly send limit, sending is blocked until your allowance resets the following month. Once you hit the 25/month API creation limit, creating documents via API is blocked until the next reset.

Note: The referral program, which grants extra documents for inviting other users, isn't available on the monthly Free plan.

Who this applies to

  • New Free plan signups get the monthly limits from the start.

  • Existing Free plan accounts keep the annual limit of 60 documents per year for now. They'll move to the monthly plan at a later date, the next time they log in after the migration starts. You'll be notified before the switch and see a confirmation once it's applied.

Need more than the Free plan offers?

If your team regularly sends more documents than the Free plan allows, or needs a higher API creation allowance, upgrading removes these limits.
