Pricing tables are being upgraded to Quote builder

Availability: Business and Enterprise plans

We're automatically upgrading templates that use Pricing tables to Quote builder. Your products, pricing, and design settings will carry over automatically. You don't need to take any action.

This article explains what's changing, what stays the same, and how to restore a previous version of a template if needed.

What's changing

Starting the week of March 16th, templates containing Pricing tables will be automatically upgraded so the pricing section becomes a Quote builder block. The following carry over during the upgrade:

  • Line items, quantities, prices, discounts, taxes, fees, and totals

  • Table structure including rows, columns, and section layout

  • Design settings including fonts, borders, header styling, colors, and spacing

  • Data merge status, column mapping and merge rules

  • All pricing calculations

What's not changing

The upgrade only affects templates that contain Pricing tables. It does not affect:

  • Documents that have already been sent or signed - these will continue to display and function normally

  • Templates with complex configurations such as subscriptions, volume-based pricing, or CPQ rules - these are excluded from this upgrade

Restoring a previous version of a template

If you prefer to return to an earlier version of a template, you can restore it using template history. This option is available to Admins, Managers, and other roles with template editing permissions.

To restore a previous template version:

  1. Open the template

  2. Click Template history

  3. Locate the version created before the upgrade

  4. Click Restore version

Note: Documents that were already created or sent from the upgraded template will not be affected by a restore.
