At the moment, to make changes to a quote builder block’s content, one needs to open the editing mode. The PandaDoc team is now working on simplifying the quoting experience, making it possible to configure the quote builder block while on a document, encompassing all the capabilities the quote builder block has.
To enable the option:
Click on the quote builder block and select the Edit quote option in the floating panel
Click on the gear icon on the top right of the page
Select the Inline table mode in the right-hand panel
Click Save
Note that inline editing only allows modifications to columns or products added in full-scale editing mode. To make further customisations - such as adding new sections, columns, or products, or changing the recipient’s permissions - click Edit quote to open the full editing mode.
However, you can remove products and add custom products when editing on-page.
To remove a product when editing on-page:
Click on the three vertical ellipses button to the right of the product row
Select the Remove item option
To add a new row for a custom product, click on the “+” button below the quote builder block.
To disable inline editing for your quote builder block and return to the previous functionality, switch back to Layouts mode.
