How to collect files from your recipients
You can add the Collect files field to a content library item, template, document, or form.
Simply start typing a recipient's name or email address and role in the dropdown menu on the right, then drag and drop the Collect files field into the content block. Once you’ve done this, you can change the placeholder to this field and also add a caption (the description your recipient sees when they hover over this field). To do this, click the Properties button on the floating panel.
Note: Only one file can be uploaded per one Collect files field. You can add several fields in case you need to collect multiple files.
How to upload content into the Collect files field
To upload an item to the Collect files field, the recipient must first click on this field.
Next, in the Upload file window, your recipient should click Select file to upload a file from their computer. Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, and OneDrive can also be used to upload a file.
Note: If your recipient uses a mobile device, they can also take a photo and upload it to the Collect files field.
How to review uploaded content
Once your recipient uploads a file to the Collect files field, the document’s owner will see a clip icon on the field. This indicates the file has been uploaded and can be previewed by clicking on it.
Note: All recipients of your document can access the uploaded files.
For security purposes, the completed PDF file will not include items that have been uploaded into the Collect files field.
