Creating a UTF-8 encoded .CSV file
Creating a UTF-8 encoded .CSV file
Updated over a month ago

PandaDoc requires UTF-8 encoded .CSV files for catalog import. This type of encoding is required to ensure that your data will be parsed properly. If you cannot code your export to a UTF-8 file, or if you do not use a database where this is offered, follow these steps to encode your CSV:

After you have added your products and formatted the CSV as shown here, save it, open a new Google Sheets and upload your file into Google Sheets. Click File > Open, in the popup window choose Upload and select your file.

Nothing needs to be changed in the uploaded file. Click File > Download as > Comma-separated values (.csv). Voila! Now you can import the downloaded file into PandaDoc.
