Create your own #saleswins channel in Slack
Get the whole company to cheer for your sales team! Create a #saleswins channel within Slack that generates a message every time a deal is closed in PandaDoc.
The message will detail the rep’s name, the name of the document, and the dollar amount of the deal. Read more about how we have came up with the idea here. And below is how you can set it up with our integration with Zapier:
- Enable Zapier in your PandaDoc account. Go to https://app.pandadoc.com/a/#/settings/integrations/zapier/ and click Enable;
- Scroll the panel down to see the Zap template for Slack (Post channel notifications…) and click Use this Zap!
Then follow the Zap template flow:
- Connect your PandaDoc account;
- Choose a template or leave the field empty if you wish to send a message about ALL completed documents;
- Pick sample document (it should be in Completed status and created from the template you picked in Step 2, if you picked any);
- Proceed with setting up a message that will be sent in Slack: connect your Slack account;
- Customize the channel and message: see the Total field will show the document grand total (deal amount);
- Click Show advanced options to correct the bot name, icon and so on;
- Click Continue and try testing it!
TADA! Now turn the zap ON and celebrate your saleswins with the whole team!
