Use of Field Tags and API

New to pandadoc, so apologies in advance.

My use case is as follows. My companies generates a large number of pdf documents to be signed. Each document is unique, generated using document automation. Because each document is unique we cannot use templates.

Because there are so many documents, we cannot use the UI to apply the fields to the documents but would rather use field tags. During the automatic generation of a document, we can automatically include a Field Tag for the signature (https://developers.pandadoc.com/reference/create-document-from-pdf), like {signature:user______}.

Because every document is automated, we know the intended signatory of each document.

We would like to use Field tags in conjunction with the API to create the document with the fields tags, associate the tags with the data (like signatory) and send those out to be signed, without any manual intervention, other than the recipient signing the documents.

Is that possible? I do not currently have the type of license that allows me to test this out for myself.
