Template varibles are null in Zapier Document

Hi

I have been looking into testing new varibles in a template for a zapier automation that updates deal

I basically followed the steps from the article - https://support.pandadoc.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360048791373-Zapier-Update-Hubspot-Deal-fields-with-data-from-a-PandaDoc-Document-

However, when I get to step 4, there seems to be an issue because or the varibles I added to the template and filled out when I created a test contract show as value: null - I dont know if this is a bug in the system.

I have also looked at the article - https://support.pandadoc.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360052136753-Troubleshooting-your-Zapier-setup-with-PandaDoc but it didn't really help my specific problem.
