How to Edit and Save a Theme

I am looking for a way to edit and save an existing Theme.  Right now, when I make changes to the theme, it gives me the option to Save as New, however I don't want to save as new, I want to save it as the current theme so the changes will be reflected on templates or content that use that theme.  Right now I can't find a way to do that.

  UPDATE:

  You can now update/save an existing theme. Simply click on the Design icon on the right-side panel, make the change needed, and then you will be prompted to Publish Changes.

  Hi Michael,

  Some good news, and some bad news....we'll go bad first:

  Unfortunately, at this time there is no way to update an existing theme, you would need to Save as New. Once you do this, you can then delete the previous version. 

  

  However, very soon this will be something that is possible, along with updating the templates that may use the theme.
