Has Anybody Encounted the Error: "The app returned "Not all fields were assigned"." with Zapier?
Hey,
Was trying to set up a Zap with the following workflow:
1. TRIGGER : Record enters a view on Airtable
2. ACTION : The above record fills out a document on Pandadoc
3. The unsigned doc is sent to the user to sign. (this is actually part of step 2 when the 'send document' box is ticked).
It's quite a basic setup, but every time I try to run or test the Zap, I receive the error: "The app returned "Not all fields were assigned"."
All the required fields have been filled out. In an attempt to troubleshoot the issue I have also tried a combination of things ranging from filling out every field with plain text, filling out on the required fields with plain text, filling everything in with a variable, etc. Everything results in the same error.
Would be great if anybody else has experienced such an error, and knows whether I'm overlooking something.

Hi Ricky,
A field setting of required or not should not create any issues. It sounds like there might be a Field in the source Template that is not assigned. To send any document all fields must be assigned to a recipient or Role.
I would double-check the template if need be, create a document from the template in-app and try to send, if you get a message that a Field needs to be assigned make note of the field and in the template assign that field to a Role.
