How to see credit card details

We have a credit card field on our form because we require a card on file to provide service.  How do we see that information?

  Hi there!

  It sounds like you may be using the Stripe Integration and the Credit Card Field. 

  There is no way to see this within PandaDoc but to access this information, open your Stripe account and click on “Customers” on the right. In the Description column, find the document name and click on it. Scroll down to the Cards tab and unfold it to view the payment info. From there, you can create a subscription or a one-time charge.

  You can not access card number in Stripe due to PCI compliance. Use a text field on a card authorization form.

  If you put in the card number in a text field, it wont verify the card number. Is that just impossible to do with pandadoc?

  Can you explain what you mean by it won't verify the card number? What are you trying to accomplish with that text field and the card number?

  I think I know what Isbey means. When using the text field to collect a credit card number, there isn't an authentication process to verify that it is indeed a correct number. In my case, a lot of our customers type their credit card numbers incorrectly into the text field, and this causes a large lag in getting payments processed. 

  I see there are verifications you can use on text fields for address, phone number, etc. Any plan to add one for credit card numbers?

  Thank you for your patience. The reason that we don't have verification for credit card numbers is that PandaDoc is not PCI Compliant. According to our Terms of Use, we don't allow the inclusion of credit card information on documents.
