Where to find HubSpot Variables and how to use them
Working with PandaDoc, you probably already know that we support CRM Integrations.
One of those integrations is Hubspot.
One of the most common questions we hear is: “Where can I find HubSpot Variables/tokens?”
Let’s look into the flow step by step.
- Install the CRM Integration
- Open your template and think about where you’d like to use CRM tokens
- Open HubSpot
- Scroll down to the PandaDoc module. Click on Actions > Show PandaDoc tokens
You will see a list of tokens you can use.
! Important - if the value is not filled in, the information won’t be pulled into the PandaDoc template, because there’s simply nothing to pull.
The more information you have in HubSpot - the more can be pulled into your templates and that will help you automate the process.
In order to use the token, you need to copy the token name with square brackets and paste it into the PandaDoc template.
Make sure you don’t copy the token value.
Tokens will not work across all objects. See this article for more information.
Once you have all of your tokens pasted into the template, now you can create a document and see how the tokens are populated with values from HubSpot.
A detailed training video is available to see how you can create and send a document through the integration.
Good Luck!
