For those organizations that aren’t used to working remotely, then this past year may have presented new challenges as individuals transitioned into their home offices. However, working from home doesn’t have to be so difficult and it doesn’t mean your team can work better together and even better with your customers. There are many features within PandaDoc that can help make remote work even easier! Here are my top favorite features that helped bring teams and customers together while working apart.
Inline comments have been a GAME CHANGER for working remotely! Before remote life, you might have been able to quickly discuss a section of a document with someone on your team. Inline comments make it just as easy as getting your team members to review something specific within a document without being in front of them. I like to think of inline comments similar to putting a stick note on your coworker’s desk. It allows you to highlight a section, copy line, image, table, or really any content piece within a document so that it’s easy for someone to look at a specific section. You can tag another user within your workspace so that they instantly get a notification sent to their email to review. Once done, you can resolve the comments but you can always look back to see past comments as needed.
Document & Signature Forwarding
You and your team aren’t the only ones working remote. Your customers that receive your document might be too. Therefore, document and signature forwarding has been SUPER helpful in making sure recipients can easily share with other members of their team too. Since working remote, having these two boxes checked are a must so that your documents workflow isn’t held up because the original recipient can’t easily get a document in front of someone else.
Having real-time collaboration makes it super easy to feel like you’re working with other members of your team while you’re both working in your own home office. It allows you to be able to see who is within your document and what section they are working on. It’s a super simple feature that really makes all the difference.
Switching to remote life this year has definitely switched up internal processes your team might have had. If you needed to get a sign off from your manager or someone else on your team before sending out a document you might be finding it disrupting your workflow. However, approval workflows eliminates those disruptions. Having an approval group for this feature makes it even easier too so things can continue to work efficiently.
What has your team done to make remote life easier?
