Connecting a signed Contract to a Hubspot Deal

Hi PandaDoc Community

We have the PandaDoc-HubSpot integration and we think it works great to create a contract from a template using Hubspot fields.

However, we have found out that one of our Sales staff is creating the documents directly in pandaDoc and now we want to be able connect it after the fact to the deal.

Is this possible? If so, how can it be done?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

  Great question! You can link a document sent from PandaDoc to a Hubspot Deal using our Link to Hubspot feature.
  
  

  1. In your PandaDoc tab, open the document, then click the HubSpot icon on the right. Please note the document must be in Draft status. 
     
     
     
     
  2. Click “Link” and you’ll be prompted to select a deal from your HubSpot account. Choose a deal and click “Link.” (Note that you’ll be unable to search deals here.)

  Hi there,

  The question has not been answered. The question is how to link a SIGNED document to a Hubspot deal after the fact... the answer provided says it must be a DRAFT in order to be linked. A signed copy is not a draft so we are still waiting for an appropriate response. Please answer how a signed document can be linked. I have multiple signed documents I need to link to Hubspot deals. Thank you!

  Thank you for you answer. I believe that will do the trick. I have forwarded to our Sales Rep.

  I will keep you updated, but it looks like the exact page I was looking for!! :)

  Does this also add a copy of the signed PDF into Hubspot?

  First, you will click on the Hubspot icon in the sent document:

  

  Next, you will search for the deal:

  

  Once you have found the deal, make sure to select 'Link' and you are good to go:
