Content management is key to streamlining workflows and maximizing productivity. Without content management, your team spends time searching for relevant content, wastes time updating old content over and over, and sends the wrong info to your customers.
Using PandaDoc, you can manage your content like a pro using these simple steps:
Step 1: Build- create approved content using our Templates and Content Library functionality.
Step 2: Delegate- give the right people the ability to manage and update content in the Templates and Content Library using Roles that designate permissions. Take it to the next level with Custom Roles.
Step 3: Control- Roles restrict who can make changes to Templates, but your team members can still customize and change the specific Documents they send out. You may want them to change things like names, products, and images, but you probably don’t want them making changes to legal language or terms and conditions. That’s where Content Locking comes in. With Content Locking, you can completely lock down any piece of content from being edited, moved, or deleted.
Step 4: Organize- Keep your Templates and Content Library items organized using a Folder structure and systematic nomenclature that make it very easy for your team to find what they are looking for.
Step 5: Maintain- Make sure you have someone assigned to periodically review any Templates and Content Library items that need to be updated. We recommend doing this at least once a quarter. Anything that is obsolete should be moved to a folder titled Archive or simply deleted.
