Any idea if you can set headers and footers for page 1 only?

    Hey Scott,

Unfortunately no. Footers and Headers are applied across all of the standard content pages. However, you could use a Cover page if you want just one version of a footer on a particular page. Cover pages work differently than the standard pages in that you can add content all the way to the edge of the page and they do not adopt header or footer items.

    Thanks!

Double clicking in the header space is doing nothing for me. I have figured out how to customize the look (color block) but need to add text. Help!

    Hi Robyn,

Double click the header area and it should make the rest of the page faded, this means the header area is activated. Now you can drag in a Text Block, image block into the header just like you can with the rest of the document.

Is there a way to get the page numbers to show up when viewing the document in PandaDoc rather than just including them in the saved PDF?

    Hey Philip,

Unfortunately at this time, no there is no way to have the page number visible in-app. I would suggest adding this to our Idea Portal

I'm trying to upload an image into the footer space which shows my company logo and contact information, however each size I try comes out blurry. Is there a recommended image size and type for the best resolution? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Gateway Travel :)

Image size isn't really an issue unless it is over 3000 x 3000 then there will be problems. I believe the issue may be with the quality of the image. Typically DPI is for printed images but it does also affect images online. I would recommend images over 80 dpi up to 300 dpi. See the image below for reference.

If this does not solve the issue, or the images are already higher quality I would reach out to support@pandadoc.com and have them take a look. They will ask for the template URL and for the image file so they can test on their end.

    Thanks!

I'm going to have to call someone at Panda, but maybe can get a quick answer here or help someone else with the same question.  How do you get the page numbers to show in the TOC?

    Hi Jamie,

Unfortunately, page numbers associated with the list in the Table of Contents is not possible at this time. I would recommend adding this request to our user-voice, idea portal

    Thanks!

Is it, in any way, possible to save your footers/headers? (not just the font/color, but text and logo)
It would be very pleasant if you can just click on a certain footer in the menu, after which it appears in the document

Is there any way to have the page number show up on the bottom right as opposed to the center of the footer?

I'd also like to know if headers and footers can be saved.

    Hi Mike,

Unfortunately at this time headers and footers cannot be saved as a library item, and besides background color, they cannot be saved at the theme level.

Please be sure to ass this suggestion to our Idea Portal

    Thanks

While we've added initial fields and others to footers in the past, I've been unable to do so on new templates.  Is there a step I'm missing?  I double click into the Footer, click in the field were I need the Initial box to go, select the Initial Fillable field, and it will generate in the main body of the document, instead of in the Footer, and will not allow itself to be relocated down below the main body of the document.  Suggestions?  Thank you!

    Hi there,

You should be able to double click the footer (or header) section and add a Text Block, once added you can then drag over an initial field. This will add an initials field to all pages in the template/document:
