Payment Process: Important Announcement

PandaDoc is delighted to announce forthcoming enhancements to our payment gateway system, scheduled for release on October 16, 2023. In response to your invaluable feedback, our product team has worked to introduce a more adaptable and user-friendly payment process. Here’s what’s coming:

Expanding Local Payment Methods for Stripe and Square

Direct debit is now available in the European Union and ACH Direct Debit in the United States. These enhancements are designed to facilitate global payments, making the process even more convenient for recipients. Please visit the Stripe and Square pages to explore the list of payment methods available by country.

Streamlined Payment Gateway Configuration

We're introducing a simplified approach to configure payment gateways for customer checkout. PandaDoc users with a Member role can now request access to have the payment gateway enabled directly within the payments app (see images below). There is no need to navigate to the settings page. Users with an Admin role can also connect to a payment gateway within the payments app on the Document and Template level.

 Expanded Recurring Payment Options

You can now collect recurring payments through Stripe, Square, and Authorize.net. Please note that recurring payment functionality is exclusively available within Quote Builder.

Customizable Default Gateway Settings

You can now designate your primary payment gateway with the added option to utilize PayPal as an alternative, all at the workspace level. These settings have been crafted to ensure consistency in your payment collection process and can be easily adjusted to suit your needs.

Mobile-First Experience 

Lastly, we've collaborated with leading payment processors to introduce a mobile-first payment experience for Stripe and Square. This will provide a seamless and user-friendly payment experience on your mobile devices.
