Add Pricing Table Variables Throughout Your Document
PandaDoc has just released variables for Pricing Tables!
You can now add pricing table-specific variables throughout your template/document.
What new variables are now available?
[Pricing Table 1.Total]
[Pricing Table 1.Discount]
[Pricing Table 1.Subtotal]
[Pricing Table 1.Tax]
Adding these variables to your template can better break down important information within the pricing table. You'll also be able to present this information throughout your document in a way that follows your brand identity.
In the Template:
When the variables are added they will automatically appear as $0.00 if there are no items found in the pricing table:
In the Document
When products are added or updated the amount will automatically adjust.
The variables in the sent document will also update when the recipient adds to the quantity or selects an optional item.
Additionally, if you add additional attributes to the Pricing Table footer, this will create a Variable for this added attribute.
Lastly, if you have more than one pricing table, these new variables will also be available for second, third, or fourth (or more) pricing tables within your documents.
Your Turn
How will you and your team utilize pricing table variables in your templates?

Love the new functionality. Sometimes (Often) we have contracts that include a variety of payment types (One-time, per hour, worked, per unit, per month, per year, even quarterly) It would be amazing if we could tag the line items in the table with the correct option and then it would break out in the summary area below the pricing table. I am already seeing the workaround for this with the new dynamic variables, but it would be a real nice feature to have and would help with some of our less than contract savvy clients.
