Intro to Zapier:
Do you find yourself bogged down with a lot of repetitive tasks? Are you looking for ways to automate your workflow but don’t know where to start? Or perhaps you do not have the budget or time for a project that would require development work? I would like to introduce you to Zapier.
Zapier connects the apps you use everyday and automatically moves information in between them. And this is done without you having to write a single line code. You may be wondering how much this is going to cost, but you can actually get started with one of their free plans!
It’s all done through “Zaps”. Each Zap consists of a triggering event and one or more resulting actions.
So you can set up a Zap that says “If PandaDoc does this, make X do that.” Or, “If X does this, make PandaDoc do that.”
Here is a great intro video:
Upon visiting the site you’ll see the possibilities are endless when it comes to the number and types of apps you can connect! So here are a few ideas to get you started:

QuickBooks Online is the web version of the popular accounting packages QuickBooks.
Two popular actions you may automate include generating invoices or creating new customers in Quickbooks, as soon as a document is completed in PandaDoc.
Pipefy + PandaDoc
Pipefy is a project management tool that allows you to organize and track all your processes in one place.
A popular way to connect PandaDoc and Pipefy inis to create a new project card in Pipefy when a document is completed in PandaDoc.
Slack + PandaDoc:
Slack is a platform that simplifies team communication by offering instant messaging, document sharing and knowledge search for modern teams.
One popular way to connect PandaDoc and Slack includes posting Slack channel notifications when PandaDoc documents are sent or completed.
Save to Google Drive
Google Drive is Google's file sync app that lets you store all of your files online.
One of the most popular ways to connect PandaDoc and Google Drive includes uploading completed PandaDoc files to Google Drive. This could be a great option If you want to keep a copy of your completed documents saved in Google Drive to provide easy access for non-PandaDoc users. Check out a more detailed guide in this Forum post.
Import contacts in PandaDoc or Integrate CRM
How are you keeping track of your customers? Whether you’re using Customer relationship management (CRM) software to automate and manage the customer life cycle or whether you’re keeping your contacts stored in a spreadsheet, Zapier will provide you a few options to help reduce manual entry of customer data between your apps.
We have several native integrations with CRMs such as Salesforce, Pipedrive, HubSpot, check out our integration guides here. But even if we don’t have an integration built, if your tool is supported in Zapier you may be able to create Zaps to automatically populate client data into your documents, or update your CRM records with information provided by clients in your documents.
No CRM? No problem! You can leverage the PandaDoc Contacts section to reduce manual entry of client data by importing your contacts. Click here for a detailed guide.
