Why Do I Need An Account Team?
Last week, we discussed the value of PandaDoc Office Hours. Today, we will discuss the value of your PandaDoc Account Team. The core team members on your PandaDoc Account Team consist of your Customer Success Manager (CSM) and your Account Manager (AM). However, you may also work with Solution Engineers and our Support Team to provide further support.
As soon as you become a part of the PandaDoc family, either via our sales team or signing up online on your own, we want to be with you every step of the way. This is where your Account Team comes in. Your Account Team is here to help you maximize adoption of PandaDoc.
We want to ensure you’re maximizing the use of every feature applicable to your use case. Your Account Team is available to:
- Have workflow consultations and help align you to features that would benefit your team.
- Review your company’s adoption of PandaDoc by reviewing quarterly metrics and assessing opportunities for expanded use and ROI.
- Create action plans to help you achieve adoption and support your team using PandaDoc as best as possible, so your team gets the most out of the platform.
- Carry out success planning to ensure they are helping you reach your goals and ensure PandaDoc is helping to obtain your business objectives.
The Value Of Your Account Team
After reviewing customer feedback on PandaDoc Account Teams, I discovered some common themes. Our Account Teams are informative. They have product knowledge to help support you and work with various departments internally to provide additional support if needed. They can highlight various product features that can be leveraged in your workflow to maximize adoption. Even better, they can use examples from your business to highlight different features and examples of how your team will use them.
Account Teams are proactive and timely. Your PandaDoc Account Team is here to help remove any roadblocks and obstacles in your way as you use PandaDoc. Therefore, you can expect responses to your questions to come in a timely manner, and if your team doesn’t know the answer right away, it will be a priority to find the answer and follow up as soon as possible. Your team is also available to help support making any necessary updates to your PandaDoc contract if needed.
Account Teams support your use of PandaDoc. Your Account Team is available to review quarterly metrics with you that shows how much your team is using PandaDoc, what cases they are generally using it for, and what adjustments can be made to increase the use and adoption of PandaDoc. The team can also provide technical reviews with the Solution Engineer Team. Over time, your Account Team will become more familiar with your workflow and be able to suggest new and advanced workflows so you can level up, maximize adoption, and provide recommendations for optimization.
Account Teams take feedback and help turn it into action. If you have feedback about specific features or improvements you’d like to see made, don’t be afraid to share it with your Account Team or share it in our Idea Portal. They will work hard to ensure that your feedback is heard within the organization. It may be possible that another PandaDoc user has provided the same feedback, and hearing it again from you helps our team prioritize improvements that better serve your needs.

I understand that you may think you can go along just fine without being engaged with your Account Team, and I understand. Typically, I like to work alone and only be engaged if I need to reach out. However, I have discovered that to truly get the full value of any software I am paying for; I need to be engaged with the Account Team. You could be missing out on something you aren’t aware of that would be a massive benefit for your team and help thrust you toward your goals.
