Save Time with Document Bundling
Here at PandaDoc, we understand that it can be a hassle to send multiple documents for signature in separate emails. That’s why we developed the Document Bundling feature to better serve your team. With Document Bundling, you can send multiple documents that need to be signed individually in one email. All bundled documents are stored together so after you’ve received all of the signatures, you can easily find needed information.
With the Document Bundling feature, you can add up to 10 separate documents (maximum size of 50MB per document). We have some great resources to help you get started:
- A self-paced (20 minutes) course and a live instructor-led course are available to help you get set up. Our instructors are prepared to answer your questions and set your team up for success.
- An excellent three-minute video overview in our Help Center to walk you through Bundling.
Let’s take a look at how Document Bundling can support common activities handled by Human Resources teams to save time and speed up the distribution and signature process.
Human Resources
When hiring a new employee, there are typically multiple documents that have to be signed. For example, there can be an offer letter, tax forms, and checklists, to name a few.
In this case, you could start by sending out the offer letter for signing. Then, you could send a bundle of onboarding documents that include tax forms, checklists, and any other documents that need to be sent to the new hire. Not only would this allow you to separate the document requiring immediate attention from the ones the new hire could review at a later date in preparation for their first day, but it would keep the documents together as a package for future reference.
Send fewer emails and save time for both your team and new hire. Don’t take our word for it – look at a review from one of our customers. Working in HR, TPD deals with a lot of paperwork. By using PandaDoc, they save an average of 188 hours per month—reducing their time to onboard by 75%.
Another area where the Bundling feature will be a great help is with annual compliance activities and new company policies. With many organizations going global, aligning compliance and policies with various rules and regulations is becoming more complex than ever before. It’s no surprise that there can be a lot of paperwork involved with compliance and company policies, especially if policies are affected by various city, state, and country labor laws.
With PandaDoc’s Bundling feature, you can create Bundles with specific policies, procedures, and compliance information that need to be communicated to your teams. For example, ‘Yearly Compliance Checklist For EU Team Members’ or ‘2022 Labor Laws & Company Policies To Be Reviewed By California Employees’. Bundles can be used on the Template-level, so you can create Templates for specific situations and save time by having them ready for use when new employees join the team or when it is time for required annual activities.
Recap & What’s Next
The PandaDoc Bundling feature will help your team solve the pain point of having to collect and store multiple documents separately. You will save time on administrative tasks and allocate time and resources where they are needed most.
Next week, we will review the ability to manually change a document's status in PandaDoc and situations where you may need to change the status.
Put some time on your calendar next week to review our Help Center and courses on the Bundling feature. Once you have completed your review, let us know in the comments what situations you are planning to use the Bundling feature for. We would love to know!
