Easy way to tell what template was used for a document?
Is there an easy way to find out what template was used to create a document, other than opening up the document and simply looking at it? (Obviously, that's not entirely reliable either if two or more templates are very similar.)
Preferably, I'm looking for a list or a report that shows me the name of the document & the name of the template that was used. However, a manual option will suffice also, as this is only something that we need to monitor temporarily.
Use Case: We recently switched from using static templates via PandaDoc.com to dynamic templates created from Salesforce opportunities. We've left the old static templates available for a while until we're sure that everyone is comfortable with the new Salesforce methods. However, we want to be able to figure out who is still using the old templates as a way to identify who may need additional training. Currently the only way I can see this is to open up every single document created & look at it. I'm hoping there's an easier & faster way due to how many documents are being created.
Please advise!

Hello Lee-ann,
Thank you for reaching out via the Forums.
There are a few options available with our Advanced Reporting feature. This feature is available with our Business and Enterprise plans (with the Business plan it is a paid add-on). If you do not have this feature available already, then you will want to reach out to your PandaDoc Account Team. You can do this by contacting support@pandadoc.com, we are happy to help!
Upon clicking the ‘Reporting’ tab, click on ‘Document efficiency’ on the left-hand side and then make sure to 'Sort by template' and click ‘Filters’ on the right-hand side as shown in the image below.
Search for the appropriate Template and you will find all Documents created from that Template for the designated time frame.
Feel free to come back to the Forums anytime.
Thank you for choosing PandaDoc!
