Qualified electronic signature

Warning:
Qualified electronic signature is available only for active plan users (paid accounts).Qualified electronic signature helps to identify the signatory of a document sent via PandaDoc.
PandaDoc uses third party providers for the process such as EvroTrust and others. Since they are in the European trusted service provider list it makes PandaDoc signatures eIDAS compliant and admissible in court in case of disputes. Documents signed with QES have an additional signature certificate visible in Adobe Reader. This certificate can be brought to court to certify the validity of the signature.
Setting up qualified electronic signature
Note:
You can set up a qualified electronic signature only in a document — not in a template or form.To start, open a document and go to the “Manage recipients” tab. Click the recipient and switch the “Qualified electronic signature” toggle.


Once enabled, you can review your document, make sure the signature field is assigned to the recipient and send it.
Warning:
Currently, a document with a qualified electronic signature can’t have more than one signer.Recipient view
Once a recipient fills out all fields assigned, they’ll need to select Verify on top of the page.
After that, they’ll see the modal window where they’ll need to select their country and verification provider to pass signature verification.


The recipient will be able to download the signed document with a signature certificate once they complete the verification.
