What’s happening to Quote Roller?
Quote Roller platform is completely shut down as of March 15, 2022.
Why are you shutting it down?
Quote Roller was launched in 2011 after we’d recognized all the shortcomings of other proposal/quote software. Our product grew steadily within a few years, and we soon discovered new uses and opportunities for Quote Roller. In fact, many of our customers requested a more robust system — a platform — not just for proposals and quotes, but all types of documents. In time, this strategic adjustment soon led us to build and launch PandaDoc.
We’ve had a memorable decade with Quote Roller, so it’s not easy to announce that we’ll be shutting it down. We prioritized PandaDoc development going further and decided not to support Quote Roller any longer, or provide security updates and bug fixes.
PandaDoc has been our primary product since 2016, and we’ve recently launched Editor 2.0 — our best version yet. We know you’ll be happy transitioning your service to the PandaDoc platform, and we look forward to providing you with a smooth experience for years to come!

How do I migrate my existing Quote Roller Account and my data?
For your existing Quote Roller data, you can backup and export by following the instructions located in this support article.
Templates will need to be recreated in PandaDoc. PandaDoc has a new editor, with new options to create content including text, images, video, tables, pricing tables, table of contents, page breaks, cover pages, amazing WYSIWYG design options, page headers, and page footers. Catalog items will need to be exported from Quote Roller, and combined into one file to upload to the PandaDoc Catalog.

What is PandaDoc?

What features are new to PandaDoc that were not in Quote Roller?
eSignature Certificate - Every document sent and eSigned through PandaDoc comes with a digital eSignature certificate. This certificate contains your recipient’s name, signatures/initials, verified email address, IP address, and a Date/Time Stamp for when the document was completed.
Cloud Storage Access - PandaDoc now integrates with tools like Dropbox, Google Drive, Box, and Microsoft OneDrive that allow you to connect your account and instantly import and convert files into editable documents for eSign.
Capture Data with Fields - There are tons of new fields available in PandaDoc, including text (i.e., name, company name, etc.), signatures, initials, date, dropdown, and checkboxes. Each field can be assigned to your client to fill in the document.
Self-Signing - You can now self-sign documents along with your recipient right inside of PandaDoc.
Document Workflow and Approval Process -Keep your documents moving forward with approval workflows that allow key stakeholders to approve or reject contracts and proposals before it reaches the recipient.
Signing Order - If you need more than one person to sign your document, you can create a signing order to specify when each signer can view and eSign the document.
Audit Trail - Have a clear log of what emails were sent from PandaDoc and how they were actioned.
Forms - Create PandaDocs that can be embedded on a webpage, allowing your recipients to complete documents in a self-service way.
Custom Variables - PandaDoc makes it even easier to auto-fill data. Custom variables can be added to templates to auto-populate data when you create new documents.
Template Roles (used in conjunction with variables) - Roles are placeholders that will help your pre-assign fields to future recipients. Add these to your templates to help speed up document creation for frequently used documents.
Document Forwarding - You can set up document forwarding for each of your documents. This feature allows your recipients to forward the document to another person to review. You can even restrict document forwarding for confidential documents.
