How to replace a source file in a template or a document

Start by opening the Documents panel. To open the panel, select the document icon at the top left.

Hover over the document name, click on the vertical ellipsis menu, then choose Replace source file.

Next, in the pop-up, click Select file to replace your uploaded content.

That’s it! Your original file will be replaced with your new one. Your blocks and fields will remain in the same positions, with the same Properties settings.

Note: The file you use to replace the original cannot exceed 50 MB or 300 pages.

Replacing your source file will create a new version of your item. You can restore the previous version by going to the vertical ellipsis menu in the top right corner, then choosing Version history.

Can I replace the source file on a sent document?
