You will be able to verify documents without accessing document content and disclosing private and sensitive data. It can be used, for example, in business contracts, legal and financial documents.
How it works
For signed and completed documents, PandaDoc creates a cryptographic hash (a unique fingerprint) which is automatically stored in the Ethereum blockchain. The created proof of existence verifies a PDF document as of specific time via timestamped transactions in the Ethereum blockchain. It is irrevocable and can be shared with anyone to check digital evidence for the signed documents’ authenticity in any Ethereum blockchain explorer, for example, https://etherscan.io.
