In the right-hand settings, there are several options to design your Cover Page:
Background image.
You can choose one of the default images or upload your own.
Image requirements
- Format: JPG, PNG, GIF
- Size: Depends on your paper size (found in More > Design, Paper Size). For A4, use 800(w) x 1134(h)px. For US Letter, use 800(w) x 1036(h)px.
For sharp looks, you can use larger images: 1700(w) х 2405(h) for A4 and 1700(w) х 2205(h) for US Letter.
Logo
In the right hand settings, click on the toggle next to "Show Logo". Then choose the image layout. Click “+” in the logo area on the cover page to add it.
Note:
there’s no way to resize the logo. As a workaround, you can include a logo of desirable size in your background image before you upload it.Text Layout
You can change the text layout to one or two columns. Use the top editor bar to apply individual styling to the text block. You can use tokens and fields inside the block.

You can also style it with the top editor, or apply styling using CSS (use h1 selector).
Note:
you cannot add the Cover Page block to the Content Library.

Image formats supported: GIF, JPG, PNG.
Recommended image size: 680px, 330px and 213px wide are for layouts 1, 2 and 3 respectively; images can be as tall as you like. We recommend setting your images at 200 resolution (dpi/ppi) to make a good PDF or a printout.
While uploading the image, you can save it to the Image library to be used many times.
Panda tip! To add a resizable image, use the top editor bar to add a picture, drag it by the bottom right corner to change the size.
Video
You can insert videos from youtube.com, vimeo.com, wistia.com and vidyard.com with the Video content block.
Add the Video block and in the right-hand settings paste the URL from one of the above video-sharing resources and click “Save.”
Note:
in PDF the video will be displayed as an image which will hyperlink to this video on youtube, vimeo or wistia.Attachment
Use the attachment block if you want to add a PDF, .docx file, etc. to your editable template/document, so you don’t have to recreate it inside PandaDoc.
The attachment block allows you to embed your document into the editor in PandaDoc. The attachment is not editable, but you can benefit from mixing your existing content with editable templates in PandaDoc to use tokens, etc.
Supported formats: .PDF, .DOC, .DOCX, .XLS, .XLSX, .PPT, .PPTX
Once you’ve added the Attachment block on your template/document body, drop/choose a file from your computer or upload it from Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, OneDrive.
Note:
if you’re showing page numbers in PDF (set up in the Header/Footer block, see above), placing an attachment in the middle of your template/document will reset the numbers in PDF. We recommend adding the Attachment block at the end.Page Break
Use the page break block to indicate where to split out pages of a document/template when it’s printed or downloaded as a PDF.
Just drag & drop the block:
