[Classic Editor] In person signing on your device

To collect a signature in person, just open the document on your PandaDoc mobile app or open PandaDoc in a desktop/mobile browser, select “Sign in Person,” and pass your device to the signer.
Availability: Enterprise.
What you need to set up in person signing:
- Reach out to PandaDoc support to have the feature enabled for your account;
- Download the PandaDoc mobile app on your device and login (if you’re going to sign through the mobile app)
- Have a document ready for signing in the Sent status if you are signing in person in a desktop/mobile browser
- Start In person signing on a Draft or Sent document on the mobile app
Conduct an in person signing session in the mobile app:
- Open your document (Draft or Sent), in the PandaDoc mobile app and click “Select delivery method” > "Sign in person"
- Choose the recipient who will be signing the document
- Hand over the device to the signer. First, they’ll click “Start Signing”
- Using the wizard, the signer will fill out all fields assigned to them and click “Finalize Document” to complete the signing process
- The signer receives an email notification saying “You have just completed <Document Name> on the device of <Sender Name>” along with the link to download a PDF of the completed document.
If there is more than one signer, the screen will automatically update and you can select the next in person signer.
In person signing events will be listed in the document’s Audit Trail and under Actions






Conduct an in person signing session in a desktop/mobile browser:
- Open your document, make sure it's in the Sent status, click More > “Sign in Person”;
- Choose the recipient who will be signing the document and hand over the device to the signer. They’ll click “Start Signing”;
- Using the wizard, the signer will fill out all fields assigned to them, click “Finalize Document” and see the completion confirmation;
- If there is more than one signer, the screen will automatically update and you can select the next in person signer;
- You can always change the signer by clicking “Change signer” in the top right. If you want to leave the in person signing mode, click the button in the top right;
- In person signing events will be listed in the document’s Audit Trail and under Actions.
