There are two ways to add content to your Content Library.
Add existing blocks
Note:
If custom CSS was applied to a content block, it won't be transferred along when you add the block to the Content Library.- In your document or template, select the block you’d like to add.
- Go to the block’s settings on the right, and click on the “...” context menu.
- OR click on the “...” context menu next to the block;
- Choose “Add to Content Library”.
- Choose to add this as a brand new item, or append it to the end of an existing item.
Note:
you cannot add Cover Page, Page Header and Footer to the Content Library.

Create a new block
- Go to the Content Library and click on Create > +Content item.
- Use the Content Builder here to create your content in the same way you would create a template. Click here for more details.
Note:
you cannot add Cover Page, Page Header and Footer to the Content Library.
Use your Content Library
- Inside your template or document, click on the Library tab.
- Search for your library item, and hover over the eyeball to preview.
- Then, click and drag your block onto your document.
Use Comments
You can use comments to collaborate with your colleagues while creating your content library.
- In your Content Library, open one of your items.
- On the right side of your screen, click on the “Comments” tab.
- You can use the “@” symbol to mention a colleague and notify them about their action steps.
