[Classic Editor] Manage recipients on a document
The following guide can be used for all PandaDoc documents. In the examples below, we'll use an editable document in “Draft “ and “Sent” statuses.
Draft document, never been sent
Add recipients
Note:
you can add 10 recipients max if you are on a trialing account, and 50 recipients if your account is active. In order to send a document to more than 50 recipients, you can use our Bulk Send feature.Open your document, click Recipients on the right side and start typing recipient's name or email address. If you don't have this recipient in your contact list, you'll have to add them.

If you have fields inside your document, you must assign them to your recipient depending on who's to fill them out.
Delete recipients
Access Recipients on the right, click the recipient's name and click Delete this recipient.
Note, once you delete a recipient, all fields assigned to them will become unassigned.
Warning:
To change the email address of a recipient, go to Contacts in your account, find the contact and edit. Once changed, go back to your document, delete this recipient and add them back.Sent documents
Add recipients
If you need to add a CC recipient on a document in the Sent status, go to Recipients and start typing recipient's name or email address and add them from the dropdown. They will receive notification email along with the link to the document.
If you need to add a recipient and assign fields to them (you need them to submit some information on the document), you should edit the document first, add the recipient as described above, assign fields and re-send the document.
Delete recipients
To delete a CC recipient, open a sent document, go to Recipients, click recipient's name and click Delete this recipient. They won't have access to the document anymore.
To delete a recipient that has fields assigned to them, you should edit the document, delete the recipient as described above, re-assign fields to another person and re-send the document.
