You can show a line item discount and tax, as well as total discounts and taxes.

You can show a line item discount and tax, as well as total discounts and taxes. Let’s take a closer look at each of them.

Discounts

In order to add a line item discount, click the plus sign on the right side of the pricing table or right-click in any cell and select Discount.

Then, double-click on the cell where you’d like to add a discount — you can choose between a flat amount or a percentage in the dropdown.

You can easily change the number format of the Discount column. To do this, click the small arrow icon in the column header and select Column number format from the dropdown. The format you choose will be applied to each row in the column.

A total discount will be shown in the pricing table footer by default. Double-click on the amount to edit it. As with the line item discount, you can enter a percentage or a flat amount. Double-click on the discount name to rename it to anything else.

To delete or hide a line item discount, click the small arrow in the top right corner of any cell or right-click in any cell in the column, then select Delete or Hide column.

To delete or hide the total discount, click the small arrow in the top right corner of the discount cell or right-click in it, then select Delete or Hide.

Note: In case you have both Total discount and Line item discount, the Total discount will be applied to the Subtotal (amount including the Line item discount). For example, the item costs 10 USD, the line item discount is 10%, the total discount is 5% and the subtotal is 9 USD. The total discount will be calculated as 5% from 9 USD (0.45 USD).

Taxes

In order to add a line item tax, click the plus sign on the right side of the pricing table or right-click in any cell and select Tax.

Then, double-click on the cell where you’d like to add a tax — you can choose between a flat amount or a percentage in the dropdown.

You can easily change the number format of the Tax column. To do this, select the arrow in the column header and select Column number format from the dropdown. The format you choose will be applied to each row in the column.

A total tax will be shown in the pricing table footer by default. Double-click on the amount to edit it. As with the line item tax, you can enter a percentage or a flat amount. Double-click on the tax name to rename it to anything else.

To delete or hide a line item tax, click the small arrow in the top right corner of any cell in the column or right-click in any cell, then select Delete or Hide column.

To delete or hide the total tax, click the small arrow in the top right corner of the tax cell or right-click in any cell of the tax column, then select Delete or Hide.

Note: In case you have both Total and Line items taxes, the Total tax is applied to the Subtotal (the amount without Line item tax). For example, the item price is 10 USD, the line item tax is 6% and the total tax is 10%. The total tax will be 1 USD (10% from 10 USD).
